Dana Markey serves as the program coordinator for NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, working with the NAMI Child and Adolescent Action Center. In addition to serving as the project manager for StrengthofUs.org, she serves as the managing editor of NAMI’s Beginnings magazine, which includes publishes articles on child and adolescent mental health. She received her bachelor’s degree in creative writing and journalism at the University of Arizona, where she founded and led a NAMI on Campus affiliate. Dana is also a family member of persons living with mental illness.
