Allen’s independent film production company – Vulcan Productions – today unveiled a handbook and video for the family and friends of those serving in the United States Armed Forces. The one-of-a-kind resource was produced in consultation with medical, mental health and military family experts.
This Emotional Life, a PBS documentary series that explores social relationships and human happiness, received a 2010 Voice Award at a ceremony sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services for its respectful and accurate portrayal of people with mental illnesses.

Women & Infants is one of 10 hospitals in the United States, the only one in New England, taking part in the pilot distribution.
